So friends, it’s hard to believe this but it’s been about a year since we opened our doors in 2012. In that time there has been so many amazing things to happen to our humble shop. Less than 3 months after the doors opened we had a white Evolution 8 powered by one of our built motors at a track rental, it was the first shop built Evo that we put out to crack a 10 second pass. On the same day one of our tech, Rocco also made a 10 second pass of his own. Less than a month later we were back at the track, this time not a drag strip but Pocono raceway for an Exotics Rally. ”Crazy Joe” had us put together his car that became known after the Buscher Shootout as “Do Work”. Before it “Did Work” however his goal was still GTR and Exotics hunting.Two months later Rocco and Crazy Joe went to the Buscher Shootout. While Joe took 3rd place in the Evo Eliminator Bracket. 
To say the least the year was all ready a success for us and for our customers. For us here at E-Spec though it’s never enough…Especially when we did all this by the middle of August. As any racers knows you still have another few months of good weather left. With this being said we went back to the lab and continued to build and create other dreams for other customers. A month later we were back at the track AGAIN. This time for Evo STI day where “Crazy Joe’s” crazy white Evo lived up to its name taking 1st place in its class. 
In October you would never guess where we were, back the track. This time at Atco Raceway with Phil and Rocco, both looking to leave there mark and they boy did they. At the time Phil took the pump gas Evo X record by running 11.3@125 and Rocco took his GSX down to crack a 9.83@138 MPH beating his personal best by over .75 of a second. To close the year we went to another Exotics Rally event. This event was held at English Town but unlike other events at English Town for the first time, roll racing. This was a ton of fun, Rocco and Joe went out to put a hurt on some GTR’s and other high horsepower cars, including 1000 horse power Corvettes.
Over all this has been a FANTASTIC year filled with great people and great stories. We at E-Spec can’t wait for this new season to start and have another year of awesome memories and good times to share with all of you. Let this amazing season begin!
